Chris Herndon

Chris leads Herndon and Cox's development consulting practice, bringing more than a decade of experience in project management, risk management, and owner's representation. He has guided real estate projects from feasibility and site due diligence through entitlement, construction, and turnover, working alongside public agencies, private developers, and community stakeholders to keep projects moving.

His combined background as a development consultant and a Senior Planner in regional housing policy gives him a practical, on-the-ground view of how land use, zoning, and funding structures determine whether a project actually gets built — which is exactly the kind of buildable-reality check Herndon and Cox brings to every engagement.

Chris holds an MBA and is a graduate of the Urban Land Institute Minnesota Real Estate Diversity Initiative.
